Solgar's Alfalfa powder is produced from early cut alfalfa plants that are grown without the use of artificial pesticides and fertilisers and are certified by Quality Assurance International to be in accordance with their standards. The earlier the alfalfa is cut, the higher the naturally occurring nutrient values. Alfalfa (Medicago Sativa) is one of nature's richest food sources, containing nutrients such as protein, carotenoids, B vitamins, vitamins C, E and K, and the minerals calcium, iron and potassium. Alfalfa is often used for aiding convalescence, lowering cholesterol and allowing for efficient blood clotting.

Suggested Adult Intake:
